Law Enforcement is possible umbrella faction in Grand Theft Auto UnLocked. Some of the sub factions include the LSPD, FIB, and N.O.O.S.E.
Los Santos Police Department
The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) is the primary law enforcement group in Los Santos, acting as a first-response to all crimes in the city. LSPD first-responders are equipped with a Pistol, and standard-issue body armor. If another cop is brought along, they will be equipped with a Pump Shotgun.
Depending on the severity of the crime, helicopters will be dispatched as well as gunners on each side. As the crime grows more and more serious, the FIB or N.O.O.S.E will be dispatched.
The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) is the primary law enforcement group in Los Santos,N.O.O.S.E only appears once the severity of the crime reaches Stage 1 of Breaking Point. Breaking Point is activated once the wanted level reaches 4 stars. After this happens, either N.O.O.S.E or the FIB will be dispatched.
The typical N.O.O.S.E tactical-response-unit is equipped with a Carbine Rifle, Tear Gas and/or Pump Shotgun. Typical soldiers wear armor that covers their entire body, as well as helmets.
N.O.O.S.E soldiers are more fierce and lethal than LSPD officers, and will use Tear Gas to try and draw a criminal out. They are very accurate, and can most often kill untrained criminals.
The FIB appear in Stage 2 of Breaking Point. Stage 2 occurs after 5 stars are acquired. Standard FIB soldiers are very similar to N.O.O.S.E tactical-response-units, and wear the same armor and use the same weapons. The FIB also use similar tactics, utilizing Tear Gas against criminals to lure them out.
Breaking Point is a new feature present in GTA: UL. Breaking Point is activated once a certain point of a wanted level is reached, typically 4 stars. Once this happens, the severity of the wanted level grows rapidly; enemies become much tougher and fierce, and are much more resilient to damage. Breaking Point is broken into stages:
Stage 1: N.O.O.S.E is dispatched.
Stage 2: FIB is dispatched.
